This is the Last Will and Testament of Aaron Barns

The following last will and testament was written and witnessed in May 1823 at Mentz, Cayuga County, New York. Less than a year later it would be proved. NOTE: The scans shown here were from a recopied version of Aaron's will provided to probate court, as can be seen by the lead-in—at the bottom of the second page—to an interview with William Talman on January 27, 1824. I've verified the accuracy of the "recopy" and am providing these scans in-lieu of the original will scans due to their higher readability. If a copy of the original will scans is preferred, their combined size is 2.8 MB. Please indicate the preference for the original will scans in your email request.
