General Information

Aircraft Availability

The Sailplanes are available to club members on a first-come-first-serve basis, except the two-seat aircraft which may be scheduled in advance. Pilots are allowed to keep an aircraft for a two hour block which may be extended if no one is waiting.

The Sailplanes are available for cross-country and mountain wave work with the appropriate instructor sign-offs.

Flight Currency and Proficiency

In addition to complying with FAA regulations, all members are required to complete a proficiency check with a club instructor or check pilot every six months. New members and student pilots must be certified by a club instructor prior to soloing any club glider.

Instruction

Club instructors are available for initial and advanced ground and flight training. Flight instruction can also be obtained from the local glider FBO at commercial rates. An FAA examiner is located on the field.
