02/25/2007 Initiation FeesThe one time initiation fee is $300.00! This covers the use of all of the gliders for both training and solo work. Sailplane owner memberships are also available. Please inquire about terms. DuesDues are $55.00 per month and there is no hourly rate to fly
the sailplanes. SSA MembershipAll members are required to join The Soaring Society of America, at $64.00 a year, which includes a subscription to Soaring, the society's monthly journal. InstructionClub flight instruction time is typically $35.00/hr when available, paid directly to the instructor, or Club instructors may provide free training in exchange for having their club dues waived. Flight instruction can also be obtained from the local glider FBO at commercial rates. TowingAero-tow service is provided by the local glider fixed base operator: Caracole Soaring.
