The purpose of this web site is to inform and entertain those with similar interests. For the past 12 years, I have been playing volleyball in Southern California and, for the past 10 years, I have been a league director for Westside Volleyball Club. Over the years. I've had the priviledge of knowing literally hundreds of fellow volleyball players and, because of that, I designed this web site which can provide usefull information such as schedules, standings, upcoming events and announcements and, at the same time, entertain the viewers with jokes, a picture gallery and links to other interesting sites. There is also a message board where Westside folks can post notes to each other, kind of like a static chat session. An address book is also available which contains E-mail addresses to many people that play or used to play volleyball.

For the past 7 years, I have become an avid fan of golf. Since volleyball is such a demanding sport on the ankles and knees, my playing days are numbered, whereas golf is a sport for all ages. That is why my primary interest has shifted to golf over recent years and its a growing trend amoung the "seasoned" volleyball players. Because of this, my second objective is to provide a golf page which contains links to other golf sites, a phone directory to most of the local golf courses, golf tips and pictures of recent golf ventures.
